Healing family stories: therapeutic dialogue workshops
Our inter-generational and sibling dialogue workshops offer an extraordinary psychotherapeutic setting. With the direct support of experienced psychotherapists and clinical psychologists – all specially trained in working with family dynamics across generations and between siblings – family members often find a new way back to one another.
A sibling dialogue workshop brings together two siblings – or sometimes three, four, or even more – from the same family.
In an inter-generational workshop, what we call a “generation pair” participates: two people from two generations of the same family.
For example: If you're hoping to resolve something long carried – or long in conflict – within your family, you can take part in an inter-generational dialogue workshop with your mother or father, or with your adult daughter or son.
Letting go of the old, creating space for healing
Some participants describe these workshops as peace work in its most intimate form. And indeed: any understanding and love that begins to flow between two people ripples outward – into our families, and into society at large.
Many leave the workshop with a deep sense of relief – when something that needed to be said, finally was. When something that once felt impossible could finally be felt. And when, often quietly, a new chapter begins – in their own lives, and in their family.
The people behind these workshops
The official titles of these two workshop formats are Generationen im Dialog® and Geschwister im Dialog®. They are the result of decades of development by psychotherapists Dr. Sabine and Roland Bösel, who offer free training and certification for qualified colleagues wishing to work in this field.
